The gentle “light and gleam”
gives the room a new sensation
that is like being in a cocoon ball.
– cocon –
The theme of the rooms at the Shin-Osaka Station Hotel is “cocon” which is “cocoon ball” in French.
The “cocon” room was born from the desire to create an atmosphere like the inside of a cocoon ball, both in the gentle natural light that comes in through the shoji screens during the day and in the indirect lighting that softly envelops the room at night. It will make you relax in the gentle warmth of the room.
The “cocon” rooms were designed by a residential architect, Yoshifumi Nakamura, who loves traveling and has stayed in cosy hotels all over the world.
Yoshifumi was responsible for everything from the selection of furniture and lighting accessories to the selection and framing of the pictures that adorn the walls.
The pictures displayed in the rooms include a collage of scraps from Mina Perhonen, dyed pictures by Michiaki Mochizuki and hand-drawn illustrations by Nachio Nakanishi.
– Ladies’ rooms –
The second floor of fiore is the ladies’ floor.
These are high-quality single rooms of the type where you can take off your shoes and relax, just like at home.
Inside the security floor, there is a living room (with mini-kitchen), a laundry and underfloor heating are also available for longer stays.
About the garden
A garden inspired by Japanese mountain fields has been created in the space connecting the newly renovated fiore and the treno, where the reception and restaurant are located.
An approach surrounded by Momiji, Japanese maple, and mountain cherry trees leads to an open-air deck lobby.
Enjoy a relaxing moment in the lush garden.
Room Type
We have six room types in the fiore.
There are two types of single rooms: ladies’ single rooms for women only and long-stay single rooms.
My Favorite room is only one special concept room with architect Yoshifumi Nakamura’s favorite antique furniture and other items.
And there are Superior Double, Superior Twin and Superior Triple.

4-minute walk from JR Shin-Osaka Station East Exit.
By underground use
8-minute walk from Shin-Osaka Station on the Midosuji Subway Line.
Go down the stairs at the east exit of Shin-Osaka Station, turn right and walk south along the JR line. Go straight through Lawson and coin-parking (approx. 3 mins). Enter the three-way intersection in front of classico and proceed in the direction of the liquor store.
You will find the treno building with the reception on your right and the fiore on your left.
Please note.
The reception and restaurant are located in the treno.
Please go to the treno to check in.
The fiore is a 15-20 second walk from the treno.
